SUMMER CAMP FAQ

+ Where and When is camp?

Summer session dates and details are on the registration page. Each week is a unique, 360° immersive experience on-location at professional rehearsal facilities and studios. Find your session date and click "venues" for specific details.

+ What kind of music is it?

It's what you create! Each camp session reveals a song mosaic of your band's influences and styles. Everyone's voice is heard. Everyone has equal input, every step of the way. Here's what previous sessions produced in just five days:

+ Who should audition?

Jewish teens who play an instrument (including voice), and/or interested in songwriting or engineering. Alumni don't have to re-audition. Space is limited. Admission is not guaranteed.

+ When are auditions?

Our next live audition is: 11/13 @ Ness Records (judges-only audience). Follow the link for details. Students who are unable to attend can make arrangements to video chat (Skype or Google). Backline [gear] provided!

+ What should I prepare?

Expect some friendly Q&A, demonstration of basic techniques, and a short Aural Skills quiz. No specific repertoire required. The most important thing is that you are comfortable enough with your instrument to play (or record!) a song at a steady tempo.

+ How much does it cost?

Early Registration tuition = $275 (until 12/16). Regular tuition = $425. Many "post-camp" opportunities are free. Click here for dates.

+ Are there scholarships or financial aid?

Yes, we are fortunate to have organizational sponsors and donors who subsidize our operating costs and provide a limited amount of need-based financial aid. No family should be discouraged from applying to Judaic Mosaic due to lack of funds. We welcome all families who believe in their children and their ability to succeed.
